Our teachers know their students and work with them to help them realise their potential as learners. Our focus on authentic learning and authentic assessment ensures that we challenge our students to grow in their learning and achieve their personal best.
Throughout our community of Sydney Catholic schools, we have shown high performance of our students in measures such as NAPLAN and the HSC.
St Paul of the Cross Catholic Primary School Dulwich Hill students strive to achieve academic growth and success. A critical aspect of learning is assessment and our school relies on NAPLAN, Progressive Achievement Tests (PAT) and the Year 6 Religious Education test to measure successful learning. In addition class based assessments measure student learning and inform teaching programs.
Some of our recent achievements include:
- Recent recognition by Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) for our students outstanding growth in literacy and numeracy in our 2017 and 2018 NAPLAN tests
- Outstanding results in our 2018 and 2019 Year 6 Religious Education Test
- A number of our students represented our region at basketball, athletics and swimming
