Our school provides opportunities for students, staff and parents to know and celebrate their Catholic faith. This is done through the religious life of our school. Members of our community experience a rich liturgical and prayer life, celebration of the Sacraments, faith formation, social outreach activities, and opportunities to share faith with each other and with youth from other schools in the Archdiocese.

OzHarvest at St Paul of the CrossAt St Paul of the Cross Catholic Primary School Dulwich Hill, we provide opportunities for students, staff and parents to celebrate their faith in many ways. We are stewards of the environment and draw on the teachings of the Laudato si’ encyclical where we are called to care for our environment and live sustainable lives. We bring this to life through a variety of different initiatives, including our partnership with Oz Harvest and our vegetable garden that supplies food for our school chef to use in the canteen.

Children are explicitly taught the values of the gospel; compassion, kindness, justice, peace, humility, respect and courage.  This guides our teaching in the classroom and our interactions with each other on the playground.

We take a holistic approach to faith development and ensure we meet people where they are on their faith journey, offering opportunities for students to participate in the sacramental program and social outreach activities.
